How to get Resin a simple how to guide.
Resin is really important as you level up in game because its needed to craft different components that enable you to build for example a helicopter. You can obtain resin when you chop down trees but this process is very slow and there are no guarantees. What we mean by this is you will not get resin each time you cut down a tree. You may get 1 resin every 5 trees you chop down or it could be more and not consistant.
A faster way to obtain resin is to craft this in game.
How to get resin – Unlock Resin from Basic Tech Tree
You can unlock the ability to craft resin early on in game. To do this you need to go to the menu item Tech (3rd from lefft) and under Basic make sure you have Resin unlocked. If you don’t have this unlocked make sure you unlock the previous menu items and your level is high enough and you have enough Ether Shards.
Crafting Resin Using the Grinding Table
You will need to craft a grinding table first from the Crafting Table.
To craft a grinding table you will need:
- 25 Stone
- 10 Wood
- 2 Iron Ingots
Once you craft the grinding table place it in position in your base.
Your next step is to craft resin and to do this you need the following:
- Wood
For 1 piece of resin you will need 4 pieces of wood.
